We are looking for new folks to join our team to help serve “History by the Pint.”
This is a one-of-a-kind job that blends together restaurant service, history, beer, conversation, and dress-up. From greeting guests and getting them inspired about the 1850s to serving food and utilizing it as a point of conversation about the past, we have a range of opportunities available. If you like learning, enjoy beer, and get excited about the past, a job with us may just be for you. Since we are the only museum in the U.S.A to have a licensed production brewery, we are only seeking seriously interested candidates who want to be part of the team that brings the history of beer and Dayton into the present day.

Minimum Requirements for all positions:
Must be able to work a range of hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
The ability to read, write, and execute basic math skills.
Two years of comparable wait service experience preferred.
Grade 12 education.
Required to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch, twist and reach.
Push, pull or lift up to 50 pounds.
Continuous repetitive motions.
Varied temperatures, inside & outside, with loud noises.
Hard floor surfaces.
Varied lighting, including low light.
Building includes wood fired furnaces.
